Brushfires of Freedom

It does not take a majority to prevail…. but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men ~ Samuel Adams

Brushfires of Freedom is a non-profit group organized as a forum for concerned citizens in Montana’s Mission Valley to gather together to focus on the serious problems our country faces, and to find solutions.

We are concerned about the state of our country and believe both major political parties have contributed to the problem.

The political process is so corrupt that the People’s voice is no longer heard.   Replacing our representatives with honorable men and women is a small step in the right direction, but it will not fix the problem, nor will it restore our country back to the Constitutional Republic our Founders established.

Solutions to our problems will not be found with political parties and politicians, but rather with our citizens.  We must take responsibility for the state of our country, and understand that the government we have is a reflection of the people we’ve become.

Our goal is to educate and inform citizens about topics and issues that contribute to the erosion of Constitutional principles and the very freedoms and liberties we can no longer afford to take for granted, and empower them to take positive action.  We must work together to find a way to divert our current path toward democracy and socialism, back to the Constitution and freedom.

To accomplish this mission, Brushfires of Freedom offers FOUR separate areas of focus, designed to promote education, self reliance, personal responsibility, and community building.

The Enemies of Freedom page is dedicated to educating citizens about the tools, tactics, and motives used by  our enemies, both foreign and domestic, to destroy our republic and erode the Constitution

The Founding Documents section of this website is built upon the premise that you are willing to take responsibility for educating yourself about the principles of liberty.  An informed citizenry is necessary to restore our country back to the Constitutional Republic envisioned by our Founders.  This  page includes a series of lessons posted on the website intended to help  citizens better understand the ideas and principles upon which our great country was founded, and to take action by getting involved in the battle to restore our freedom, and our country.

The Self Reliance pages were established to provide Mission Valley residents with the information, education, and resources needed for self reliant living.  As technology escalates, the general population has lost many of the skills and knowledge needed for self reliant living.  Our goal is to present topics related to preparedness, and to teach self reliance skills for anyone in our community who may be interested.

The Defending Liberty pages were designed to help restore, maintain, and improve individuals' rights by providing a forum to encourage self reliance and personal responsibility, improve civic engagement, develop and implement effective solutions through grassroots activism.  Visit this page for important links related to defending our liberty.

This website is designed to help you take responsibility,  educate yourself, and become part of the solution.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men (and women) do nothing. How bad do things have to get before YOU do something?

Title: Portrait of George Washington

From Your provident hand we have received our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
You have called us as Your people and given us the right and the duty to worship You, the only true God, and Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through the power and working of Your Holy Spirit, You call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world, bringing the light and saving truth of the Gospel to every corner of society

We ask You to bless us in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty.
Give us the strength of mind and heart to readily defend our freedoms when they are threatened; give us courage in making our voices heard on behalf of the rights of Your Church and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.

Grant, we pray O heavenly Father, a clear and united voice to all Your sons and daughters gathered in Your Church in this decisive hour in the history of our nation, so that, with every trial withstood and every danger overcome - -
for the sake of our children, our grandchildren, and all who come after us - -
this great land will always be "one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

God Bless America
